Reviews and Ratings
Upon arriving at the hotel, the rooms were spotless, well-stocked, and very comfortable, offering a welcome respite compared to sleeping in the car. The service was exceptionally nice and helpful, making multiple visits to assist us during our stay. The location was excellent, nestled in West Hills with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and a quick drive to UT and the UT medical center. The dining experience provided packaged muffins and granola bars next to coffee, a convenient snack option. Overall, a great stay with minor inconveniences.
The hotel gives you a mixed experience. Despite the rooms feeling like a studio apartment but with a musty smell, it was still better than sleeping in the car. The outdated kitchen and bathroom areas might be a drawback. On the bright side, the location near the mall and various dining options can truly make you feel at home away from home.
The hotel is a home away from home near the mall and plenty of restaurants, making it convenient for a short term extended stay. The rooms come with a fully-featured kitchen and utensils provided upon request, but there were issues with mold in the shower area. The staff is friendly and helpful, although there were strict rules regarding smoking on the premises. The location is good for accessing West Hills, restaurants, and grocery stores, with easy access to UT and UT medical center. The dining experience was basic with packaged muffins and granola bars and could have been improved. Laundry facilities were available but somewhat pricey at $2.00 for a 45-minute dry cycle.
The hotel was a suitable choice for my long-term week-to-week stay during my work assignment. The rooms, once we arrived, were clean and up to par, although quite outdated, especially the kitchen and bathroom areas. The service was friendly and helpful for specific needs like printing, but there were lacking amenities like breakfast, a dog potty area, and easy parking. The location was very good, being in West Hills with quick access to restaurants, grocery stores, and proximity to the University of Tennessee. The dining options were limited to simple snacks like granola bars, coffee, and oatmeal packets. Overall, the value for money was reasonable considering the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel.
The hotel had a few drawbacks but also some positives. The rooms were nice with a full kitchen, although cleanliness was an issue as there were bits of trash not cleaned up and a lingering smoke smell. Despite a delay in room readiness, the staff was very friendly. However, finding Caucasian hair in the bed on the first night was disappointing.
